۞ When the son of Mary is mentioned as an example, your people turn away from it 57 And say: "Are our deities better or he?" They say this only for disputing. Surely they are a contentious people. 58 He is only a servant We blessed, and We made him to be an example to the Children of Israel. 59 If We pleased We could have put angels in place of you as trustees on the earth. 60 He is certainly the sign of the Hour (of change). So have no doubt about it, and listen to me. This is the straight path. 61 And let not Satan turn you aside. Lo! he is an open enemy for you. 62 And when Isa came with clear arguments he said: I have come to you indeed with wisdom, and that I may make clear to you part of what you differ in; so be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me: 63 "For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way." 64 But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrong-doers, from the Penalty of a Grievous Day! 65 Do they only wait for the Hour - that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not? 66 On that Day even bosom friends shall become enemies to one another, all except the God-fearing. 67
