The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
