The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
