Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
