The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
