O you who believe! do not devour usury, making it double and redouble, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful. 130 And fear the Fire, which has been prepared for the disbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the apostle, haply ye may be shewn mercy. 132 ۞ Hasten to obtain forgiveness from your Lord and to qualify yourselves for Paradise. Paradise, vast as the heavens and the earth, is prepared for the pious 133 Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;- 134 And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. 135 For such, the reward is Forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath (Paradise), wherein they shall abide forever. How excellent is this reward for the doers (who do righteous deeds according to Allah's Orders). 136 [MANY] WAYS of life have passed away before your time. Go, then, about the earth and behold what happened in the end to those who gave the lie to the truth: 137 This is an exposition for mankind, and a guidance, and an admonition for such as are godfearing. 138 Faint not, neither sorrow; you shall be the upper ones if you are believers. 139 If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust. 140 And that Allah may purge those who believe and destroy the infidels. 141 Do you think you will go to Paradise while God does not know who among you strive and persist? 142 And verily ye used to wish for death before ye met it (in the field). Now ye have seen it with your eyes! 143
