Everyone upon the earth will perish, 26 There remaineth but the Countenance of thy Lord of Might and Glory. 27 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 28 Whosoever is in the heaven and earth ask Him. Every day He is upon an affair (He reveals according to His Eternal determination). 29 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 30 We shall surely aim, O both burdened. 31 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 32 O company of jinn and men! If you have the power to go beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them: you cannot pass out but with [Our] authority. 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 36 When the sky will split asunder, and turn rosy like the dregs of annointing oil, 37 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 38 On that Day there will be no need to ask either men or jinn about their sins. 39 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 40 The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. 41 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 42 (The guilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied". 43 They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water! 44 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 45

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
