The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
