Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
