And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
