The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ TRULY, to a happy state shall attain the believers: 1 Who are humble in their service, 2 And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). 3 those who pay the zakat; 4 And who guard their private organs. 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 But whoever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits; 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 and who observe their prayers. 9 It is they, they who shall be the inheritors 10 that shall inherit Paradise; and in it they shall abide for ever. 11 We created man from an essence of clay, 12 then We made him into a drop of life-germ, then We placed it in a safe depository, 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 Then after that, certainly all of you are to die. 15 and be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven heavens above you and have never been neglectful to Our Creation. 17 We sent down water from the sky in right measure, and caused it to stay in the earth, and We have the power to cause it to vanish (in the manner We please). 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you, and whereof you eat. 19 also a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat it. 20 There is a lesson for you concerning cattle. We provide you with drink from their bellies and many other benefits. You can consume them as meat. 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
