۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
