GOD CREATES [man] in the first instance, and then brings him forth anew: and in the end, unto Him you all will be brought back. 11 And on the day whereon the Hour arriveth, dumb-struck will be the culprits. 12 And they shall not have any intercessors from among their gods they have joined with Allah, and they shall be deniers of their associate-gods. 13 On that Day when the Hour will come to pass, people will be split into groups. 14 The righteously striving believers will happily live in paradise. 15 But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain]. 16 So glorify Allah [above all that (evil) they associate with Him (O believers)], when you come up to the evening [i.e. offer the (Maghrib) sunset and ('Isha') night prayers], and when you enter the morning [i.e. offer the (Fajr) morning prayer]. 17 And His is all the praises and thanks in the heavens and the earth, and (glorify Him) in the afternoon (i.e. offer 'Asr prayer) and when you come up to the time, when the day begins to decline (i.e. offer Zuhr prayer). (Ibn 'Abbas said: "These are the five compulsory congregational prayers mentioned in the Quran)." 18 He brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living, and He revives the earth after it is dead; even so you shall be brought forth. 19
