So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
