Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 Till an appointed term, 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
