Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
