One Day We will ask Hell, "Art thou filled to the full?" It will say, "Are there any more (to come)?" 30 And [on that Day] paradise will be brought within the sight of the God-conscious, and will no longer be far away; [and they will be told:] 31 'This is that you were promised; it is for every mindful penitent.' 32 Who fears the Beneficent Allah in secret and comes with a penitent heart: 33 Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity' 34 There they shall have all that they desire, and there is even more with Us. 35 How many a nation did We destroy before them that were stronger in prowess than these. They searched about the lands of the world. But could they find a refuge? 36 Surely, in this there is a Reminder for he who has a heart or listens attentively while witnessing. 37 And We have indeed created the heavens and the earth, and all what is between them, in six days; and fatigue did not even approach Us. 38 So be patient, [O Muhammad], over what they say and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting, 39 And glorify Him in the night and after the prayers. 40 And listen for the Day when the Caller will call out from a place quiet near,- 41 The Day they will hear the blast [of the Horn] in truth. That is the Day of Emergence [from the graves]. 42 We give life and cause things to die. To Us all things will return. 43 The day on which the earth shall cleave asunder under them, they will make haste; that is a gathering together easy to Us. 44 We are cognisant of what they say; but it is not for you to compel them. So keep on reminding through the Qur'an whoever fears My warning. 45

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
