VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
