And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth]. 20 And of His signs is that He created for you, of yourselves, spouses, that you might repose in them, and He has set between you love and mercy. Surely in that are signs for a people who consider. 21 Another of His signs is that He created the heavens and earth, and the diversity of your languages and colours. There truly are signs in this for those who know. 22 And among His signs is your sleeping during the night and day, and your seeking His munificence; indeed in this are signs for people who heed. 23 And of His signs is this: He showeth you the lightning for a fear and for a hope, and sendeth down water from the sky, and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death. Lo! herein indeed are portents for folk who understand. 24 And of His signs is that the heaven and the earth stand fast by His command, and thereafter, when He calleth you, a call from the earth, lo! ye shall come forth. 25 To Him belong all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth. All are in obedience to Him. 26 It is He Who begins (the process of) creation; then repeats it; and for Him it is most easy. To Him belongs the loftiest similitude (we can think of) in the heavens and the earth: for He is Exalted in Might, full of wisdom. 27
