Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
