The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 and a few from later times. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace)! 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 and banana trees, 29 and spreading shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 and made them virgins, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

Notes and Instructions
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
