Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
