(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu al-Kifl. All were of the best. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Gardens Everlasting, whereof the portals remain opened for them. 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell; which they shall enter; what an evil resting-place! 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
