And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the Trumpet was blown; “This is the Day of the promised punishment.” 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me. 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
