The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 and by the night as it recedes, 17 The rising dawn, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. 25 Then where are you going? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
