The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 and produce sparks 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
