And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),- 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 about what they did. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
