Do the disbelievers reckon that they can choose My bondmen as protecting friends beside Me? Lo! We have prepared hell as a welcome for the disbelievers. 102 Say, (O Muhammad): "Shall We tell you who will be the greatest losers in respect of their works? 103 "Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds! 104 Those are they that disbelieve in the signs of their Lord and the encounter with Him; their works have failed, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall not assign to them any weight. 105 Hell is their recompense for disbelieving and their taking My revelations and My Messengers as objects of jest. 106 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds, their place of entertainment shall be the gardens of paradise, 107 without any desire to change their abode. 108 SAY: "If all the sea were ink for my Sustainer's words, the sea would indeed be exhausted ere my Sustainer's words are exhausted! And [thus it would be] if we were to add to it sea upon sea." 109 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God i.e. Allah). So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord." 110
