▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
