Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
