۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
