What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
