The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
