We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
