The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
