The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 there is no denying its coming 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 facing one another. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
