Nay, by the Moon 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning to mankind, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens they will question 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
