What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 left and right, in numerous groups? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 Never! For, behold, We have created them out of something that they know [only too well]! 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
