He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 But the self-sufficient, 5 To him you attend; 6 Whereas it is not on thee that he is not cleansed. 7 And he who comes to thee eagerly 8 And he fears, 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 On honoured leaves 13 uplifted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 noble and virtuous scribes. 16 [But only too often] man destroys himself: how stubbornly does he deny the truth! 17 From what has God created him? 18 From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him; 19 and then made the course of life easy for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 then, when He wills, He raises him. 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): 24 That We pour down the water, pouring (it) down in abundance, 25 And We split the earth in fragments, 26 how We made the grain to grow, 27 And Grapes and nutritious plants, 28 Olives and dates, 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 And fruits and herbage: 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 And his mother and his father 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others. 37 On that day faces will be bright as dawn, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 Some faces on that Day shall be dust-ridden, 40 and veiled with darkness. 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
