Proof (Al-Bayyinah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Divorce (Al-Talaaq) before Exodus (Al-Hashr)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The unbelievers of the People of the Book and the idolaters would never leave off; till the Clear Sign came to them, 1 A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures 2 Containing correct and straight laws from Allah. 3 Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence. 4 And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion. 5 The unbelievers of the People of the Book and the idolaters shall be in the Fire of Gehenna, therein dwelling forever; those are the worst of creatures. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!. 8
