Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid. 40 And believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear. 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 And perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and bow with those that bow. 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 And seek assistance through patience and prayer, and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones, 45 Who are conscious that they have to meet their Lord, and to Him they have to return. 46
