The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
