▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
