Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 From the guilty. 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Till death overtook us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.
