The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
