Al-Isra 8 of 12
The Day will surely come when We shall summon every people with their leader. Then those who are given their records in their right hands will read their records [eagerly] and shall not in the least be wronged: 71 Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road. 72 And verily they had well-nigh tempted thee away from that which We have revealed unto thee, that thou shouldst fabricate regarding something else; and then surely they would have taken thee as a friend! 73 And had it not been that We had already established you, you would certainly have been near to incline to them a little; 74 In that case We would certainly have made you to taste a double (punishment) in this life and a double (punishment) after death, then you would not have found any helper against Us. 75 They very nearly provoked you to drive you out of the land, but they would have only lingered for a little while after you. 76 [That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration. 77
