And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
