The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
