Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 148 So ask their opinion: “(Are you convinced) that your Lord should have daughters and you should have sons? 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 (Gabriel said to the Prophet): 'Each of us has a known place. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If only we had had before us a Message from those of old, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 and see them [for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Glory, above what they attribute to Him, 180 And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
