The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 Where to are you then heading? 26 This is merely a reminder to all mankind; 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
